Terms of Service

1. About the service
StandbyOS is a cloud-based storage management platform operated by Kooyman AS (org. no. 832 489 522). The service helps storage hall operators manage halls, customers, bookings, invoicing, and key tracking.
2. Registration and account
By creating an account you confirm that you represent a business (org. number required for invoicing). You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. StandbyOS is not liable for unauthorized access caused by your negligence.
3. Free trial
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access. After the trial, you must select a paid plan to continue using the service. Your data is retained for 90 days after the trial expires.
4. Pricing and payment
All prices are listed excluding VAT (25% MVA for Norwegian businesses). Subscriptions are billed monthly via Vipps or Stripe. You can cancel at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Your data
You own all data you enter into StandbyOS. We do not sell, share, or use your data for purposes other than providing the service. Upon account deletion, all data is permanently removed within 30 days. See our Privacy Policy for details.
6. Data processing
StandbyOS acts as a data processor on behalf of the operator (data controller) for customer data stored in the system. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available upon request. All data is stored on servers located in Norway.
7. Availability and liability
We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. StandbyOS is not liable for indirect damages, lost revenue, or data loss. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the last 12 months.
8. Integrations
StandbyOS integrates with third-party services (Vipps, Stripe, Statens vegvesen, Tripletex, Fiken, PowerOffice Go, 24SevenOffice). We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services.
9. Changes to terms
We may update these terms with 30 days notice via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Disputes
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes shall be resolved by the Trøndelag District Court.
